The Testing involved :
Day 1
- Demonstrating use of DMS and Alroc AMF tooling
- Groove and SC Transition
Day 2
- Manipulate DMS to Clean 50mm Outer Sheath and Flare
The Main purpose of the Testing was to demonstrate and Trade Test Nexans Tooling on 132kV Cable for the Up and Coming Currie Project due to commence in April 2018 of which Approved Power Services will be Installing and Terminating 10x Circuits on Various GIS and AIS Sealing Ends.
All four Technicians completed the testing with confidence and competence and look forward to using these skills and tooling on Currie and Future projects.
